Spicy Tahini Sauce Over Potatoes
Serving 2
This is the same great sauce we use in our other recipe. Pouring it over boiled potatoes really shows off its versatility and ease of use. It's amazing how it can transform even simple boiled potatoes into something deliciously special.
ACTIVE TIME: 10 MINS
TOTAL TIME: 25 min
Sauce Ingredients
- 4 cloves of garlics(adjust at your preference)
- 2 tbsp of seseme seeds.
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp of Guiz Chili Crisp(either flavor is great, we use original flavor here)
- 3 tbsp of Tahini sauce mixed with 3 tbsp hot water
- 1/2 cup of sizzling oil
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of Chinese black vinegar
- 1 pinch of salt
Other Ingredients
- 200g or 2 servings of potatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Start by giving the potatoes a good wash and peeling them. Then, slice them up to the thickness you prefer. Boil these slices until they reach the texture you like – whether that's nice and soft or a bit firmer.
Step 2
Finely dice the garlic and place it in a bowl, along with sesame seeds, and Guiz chili crisp. Next, heat the oil in a pan until it's just shy of smoking. Carefully pour the hot oil into the bowl with the garlic mixture, allowing the flavors to meld.
Step 3
Blend tahini with water until smooth, then stir in soy sauce, black vinegar and sugar. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt to taste.
Step 4
Pour the flavorful sauce you've just prepared over the cooked potatoes in step 1. And voilà, your delicious dish is ready to enjoy!
